PetMeet is a consumer technology company headquartered in Minneapolis. We build the products pet owners reach for first: community, content, connection, and the everyday questions that make pet ownership easier.
Pets are family. The internet didn’t treat them like it.
When a pet does the thing - the head tilt, the zoom, the stare-at-the-door at 4:59 p.m. - people reach for a phone. The only places to share it are platforms that were never designed for this audience: timelines that mix outrage with pet content, communities scattered across a dozen apps, AI tools that don’t know a goldendoodle from a goldfish.
PetMeet was founded to fix that. We are building the products that should have existed all along: a video feed where every clip is a pet, communities organized by the breed and the question, an AI assistant that actually understands animals, and a real-world events platform that turns the internet’s warmest neighborhood into Saturday afternoon plans.
We are independent, mission-driven, and headquartered in the Midwest. We measure success in happier pets, kinder feeds, and a category we expect to define.
Four principles that guide every product decision.
Pets first.
Every product decision is filtered through one question: does this serve the pet? If a feature increases engagement but lowers warmth, we don't ship it. The metric is happier pets and the people who love them.
Privacy is non-negotiable.
We do not sell user data. We do not surveil. We collect what we need to make the product work, we say so plainly in our policies, and we treat our users' trust as the most valuable asset we have.
Independent. Built to last.
PetMeet is a venture-stage consumer technology company built for the long run. We are not a feature looking for a buyer. We are building the durable, default place pet people meet for the next decade.
Community is the product.
Software is the medium, but the product is the community. We invest in moderation, safety, and design choices that reward kindness and reward presence over performance.

Our headquarters is in Minneapolis, Minnesota - a city that takes its dogs to coffee, and shovels them out in February. We work hybrid with team members across the United States and abroad. Our pets work full-time.
