Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation on the PetMeet app and PetMeetDating. How we protect minors, and how to report a concern.
These standards apply to the PetMeet app and to PetMeetDating. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on either platform.
Zero tolerance for CSAE
We strictly prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the sexualization of minors, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any other form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. Accounts that engage in this conduct are permanently removed.
Age requirements
PetMeet requires users to be at least 13 years old, and older where local law requires. If we learn that a user is under the required age, we remove the account and delete its data. PetMeetDating is adults only: you must be at least 18 to create an account.
Reporting and in-app tools
Content, profiles, and conversations can be reported directly inside our apps. Reports involving child safety are treated as our highest priority. You can also reach our child safety team using the contact below.
How we handle CSAM
When we identify apparent CSAM, we disable access to it, disable the responsible account, preserve relevant information, and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the appropriate authorities, as required by law.
Legal compliance
PetMeet and PetMeetDating comply with applicable child safety laws in the places where they operate, and cooperate with law enforcement on child safety matters.
